Is MacroSystems DeInterlace 2000 card a scandoubler too?

I got with the A2000 a Marcosystems DeInterlace 2000 card... so, I was wondering if it is a scandoubler or just a flickerfixer....
can't test at the moment since the A2000 mobo was dead...
BBOAH says nothing about scandoubling, but Amiga Hardware Database says it is one... anyone has one to enlighten me on the matter?

How I read it, it's just a flickerfixer...I don't think is scan doubles any Amiga modes!

doubles all 15.75 kHz screen modes to 31.5 kHz

ah, I translated the manual, it says u need a vga monitor ...

When it says it doesnt "pass through" VGA signals I wonder if it means that it doesnt handle 31KHz modes like DBLPAL/DBLNTSC?

But seeing as how it's probably not AGA compatible I dont quite understand.

It is definately looks like a scandoubler & flicker fixer.

Test it, post back and I'll change the BBoAH listing.

there is a member on .org that has this too as I understood, and he says all games work OK on vga monitor....
perhaps because it is old it cannot understand productivity modes and displays nothing? I will surelly test and report!
