Sorry about that, I took them in the evening and my cheap camera is too crappy to take good pictures with the flash off. I took some more this morning, hopefully they'll be better. Please try not to render my reflection too.

Here's a new version. I guess there's just some fine tuning to the materials needed left.

So how would you like the wallpaper to look like? Any ideas? Angles/colors/etc?

Angle is awesome but I would prefer the Tomahawk logo to be readable and not downwards

Background is tough choice. Blue like the other ones of yours or the nice beige that the wallpaper of yours with the Commodore logo?

Nice job non-theless mate!

Agreed. And whatever background you choose would be great. Although it would be even greater if you could give it to us with an Alpha Channel (.png, for instance) so that we could choose our own backgrounds and even use it in other images in the future.

Thanks again!

I agree with mfilos and alkis21 on the angel. It's just a little confusing if you can't read the name right away. Also, png with transparency would rule. Or how about the 3D model or scene?

man, still can't believe how good it looks well done, blazer!

Well, that angle in the last picture was not mean as a final for the wallpaper However to be able to read the complete text the camera would obviously have to be almost on top otherwise the stick will hide it.

I can render a couple of small examples and then you can have your thoughts about it. I can provide to with a transparent .png as well later.

I don't think it matters if the text is partially hidden, it's better than a reverse angle or a top down view. I can't wait to decorate my desktop with the final version of this baby!

Yeah, these are just quick'n'dirty renders. I'll do a massive render 3360x2100 like I usually do... takes about 20-40 hours though. So I'm just gonna do one.

If you only do one (which makes sense), let it be one with an invisible background so that anyone can choose what they want. I think that would be best. As for which one, I'd say #3.

Thanks bLAZER, great work! I prefer no.2 because of the logo. Also, your close-up post #279 is awesome, it'd be great to have something like that too, even if it's not in massive quality.

If you run out of ideas how about the quickshot python(greatest joysick ever) but have the top morph into a snake head like its moulded to be?

Last edited by Gordon; 27 July 2011 at 14:18. Reason: meant snake!

Very nice, thanks for the link. Hate the cat though. - I think you need to log in to see the images.
