i do agree with you. there were plenty of programs for the amiga. and its a real pity, if these information will be lost.
even if alle projects have their own website, it would be a great benefit for all, to sync their databases. even, if not all data gets used on all frontends. all can have their special features - more pics, downloads, short movie trailer, comments, or the like. i hope you find a way, to work together |

harrison and i are discussing the possibilities of data exchange as such. This would indeed be very interesting for preserving information about amiga applications.
Xpect is currently giving lots of useful input on better data registration. I?m also planning png support instead of jpg support. That was as some mentioned' not the best choice... More info will follow so far' rhanks to everyone for putting their ideas and opinions in the thread. |

This has kinda made me think about resurrecting Atomic Cabbage, going to need to tweak the code and such a bit though since I've not touched the site since... 2003... wow that's a long time.
On that note, anyone willing to help me pad out the games section somewhat? (obviously not people working on these other projects because I'd not want to detract people's attention from something else). It'd basically just be to fill in a few fields and upload a screenshot for any games that are/were in demand. |

Yeah, lol. I thought I may as well put that disc to some use after I bought it and didn't use it for anything. I've pulled pOS now though due to trying to minimise bandwidth usage...

This sounds cool!
A lot of people usually forget about the "boring" world of applications. Keep it up! |

I'm currently adding TOSEC entries to the database. X-pect is feeding me with additions to the database, like selection of multiple chipset selection, which kickstarts are supported, etc.
The image support is now switched to PNG only, to guarantee lossless image quality. Publishers and programmers can now be added as well. No support for editing entries of those two categories yet. Please forgive me for 'false' info on entered applications at this moment, my first and foremost goal is to have many of them in there. I've already contacted several companies (which I could trace) if upload of the ADF images is permitted. At the moment you need to be logged in to get access to the ADF images already there. |

Unfortunately the new user registration process isn't working. I got the activation mail but when I go to the link in the mail just a black white webpage is shown. Also if you try to login it doesn't say weather login succeeded or not.

Much appreciated Cyberdruid, the more the merrier of course!
I'm currently looking into the confirmation email problems concerning the registration process. I'll place an update once I've found the problem. EDIT: The problem is now solved. @Blazer: Your account is now activated. You can log in with your username and password you registered with. |

Good work onklearie. So I just added 14 programs with about 4 images each.
Some issues: * Version number can sometimes be for example 0.99 or unknown, now you HAVE to enter a version number, and it must start with 1. * The harddisk install isn't ticked in the edit interface even if it was saved as hd-installable. * You must be able to choose unknown for kickstart and chipset |

Thanks for the additions bLAZER!
I've changed the version prefix setting and entering a 0 is now possible as well. 'unknown' options have been added to the chipset and kickstart lists. The HD install is still a bit puzzling why it's not being set correctly in the database. I'm looking into that... |

Good work onkelarie. Although sometimes an app (for example Oktalyzer) doesn't seem to have - or it may be unknown - version number... so maybe you should be able to add a '?' or put in blanks

Another issue: you can't use 3.01 as version number, it gets converted to 3.1

All entries with letter A from the TOSEC list are now entered into the database, but are FAR from complete. Others of course thanks for sharing their application knowledge and updating the database so far!
