Lots of ASM code

It's good to see a few people who want to learn asm on here. I`ve still got all of my old source code from years of writing intros, demos, trainers and I`ll even upload the source code of my tour-de-force, "Sonic Attack".

Grab Sonic Attack here: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=12346

Because I`ve still got all my old sources, even my earliest attempts at scrollers, copper bars etc.. I`ll be glad to share all and help out where I can.

I'm really surprised to see/heard that you was also a coder. I've always like your music and was happy to rip them from the game in the past

BTW why did you never release a full Sonic clone ?

Although I recently uncovered a source disk from when we had a meet at Uncle Tom's place around 89'ish, I don't have much of my oldest code left from the days before joining Phenomena/Scoopex. Shame really. Have the newer stuff left though, including my Makaron language which I used to write some neat utilities (Macro assembler based.) :P I blame disk prices (when I started, one buggy Maxell disk cost $25!)

Been fiddling about with Assembler the last few days, my first little project will be to optimize a player for one of Uncle Tom's modules that runs on the VBlank, had no luck with TrackerPacker.

Nice initiative, if I ever get around to reading in my old disks (if I can FIND them!) I'll be happy to contribute. But right now I enjoy learning the lovely stuff again.

heh.. I usually put a few messages in them too. There wasn't really any point in a sonic clone, other than enough that was on sa disk4.. I used that demo to try and get a job at a couple of game developers, but the money was crap I recall. In the end, I switched to database programming, as this seemed a better idea at the time.
