Great idea, Biscuit! I'm definitely going to try joining the competition regardless of the chosen games.
One suggestion, though: what about adding a recent commercial game to the 2 old others? Maybe it could help improve recognition (and sales) of the many worthy recent games?

I like the idea of promoting new games. Everything we play will come from the vote. But if there is a way to do it that would be cool. Something to think about.

Results!

To be clear about how voting works. When there is a tie, it is the game that gets its points first that wins. I've ordered the top games correctly and left the runners up in alphabetical order.

Myth - This has infinite re-spawning enemies so we can't fairly play for score. Instead we play to beat the game, with the adventurer badge also available. Anyone is welcome to compare scores informally if you like.

Paperboy - Had a quick look and this works for high scores. I suggest we play Middle Road because that is middle difficulty. I think it's challenging enough for a good spread of scores and opportunity to improve them.

That means all the badges will get an early showing.

So long as that sounds good, I will be getting the game thread up on Saturday at the latest. We may as well start the round a little early as it's the first and looks to be smooth sailing.

Nice, finally a reason to play Myth. I like that it'll be a relaxed playthrough without caring about score.
