PCBCART seem to be about $44.73 for quantity of 50. I have never used them before though.

I think $75 seeing as the pcb to you is $40-$50 and then shipped to every purchasers front door could be a worst case scenario price which seems pretty good to me.

There's interest on Amiga.org. I believe 30 is a very attainable target. I will commit to two regardless of who orders.

since you started the thread why not list everyone that has said they would get one on the first post so this way it'll be quick & easy to see how many guys we got in one glance. I'd also let all the amiga.org guys in the other thread you started know to come here to state their interest, my 2 cents

cough cough you do realize that the same people 'throwing' away money on cough cough 'dead end' PPC Amiga machines are the same guys spending money on our classic machines right? btw, MorphOS=PPC so i take it you just dislike PPC machines when they are running AmigaOS |

generating a list would be good. I'll be willing to get the boards providing i get a deposit from people who declared interest once i commit to buy them so i don't get stuck with them. Small projects are not so bad for people to back out of but a big one would hurt.
I am still waiting to get the price of the CPU's, has anyone got a ballpark figure of the cost for components, i think the excel spreadsheet prices are wrong |

Holy crap, what an amazing project - I checked out amigagti's video + build blog and was blown away!
Just wish I had a 1000 and the mad soldering skills needed to build this board! |

If it floats your boat carry on ppc but its not a proper Amiga experience IMO. Just keep on doing stuff like this to keep your Amiga spirit alive klx300r. I would say kipper if the full cost of the board plus import taxes to your door is taken, the shipping cost to customers can be paid when ready to ship, you won't be out of pocket then. Your supplier seems to be cheaper than anyone I can find . I think if AmigaGTI could let everyone on A1k.org know that would be great as there's always interest on there. So at the moment I would suggest the upfront cost should $46 per board. If you avoid import that can be taken off shipment and if more, added. Last edited by PJM; 26 January 2013 at 22:23. |
