sure there is it´s allready in the zone but I had problems getting it to work with WinUAE cause it uses the CD³² Pad for controls ..... but on a real A1200 with Sega MegaDrive Pad, it runs really kewl

Hmm, I wonder if Toni's (soon to be released) CD32 emulator would help with this game. I doubt Toni would remove all the normal emulation features like Floppy access and such like, and as he has already said, all CD32 buttons are catered for
Maybe I will be able to play this game properly soon after all |

..hmm. Is the pad controlls (in gold) better than the mousecontrolls (in pirates!)? I really liked the mousecontrolling thing in pirates, it gave it some sort of special feel... well.

I've seen the ISO of the game on some FTPs already, hint hint.
Unfortunately the best CDTV/CD³² FTPs I know of are private access only, so yes I haven't been able to see them myself. |

And so we...
Hrm so what we are lacking is a decent cd32 games archive on the net? Well why don't we wait for the cd32 update to winuae and then ask someone like the BTTR guy wether he could try and get permission to release full cd32 iso's. Full as in with all animations and CDAudio. If not then can someone please tell me the easyiest way to make a full iso of a game and compress it? as I have a number of games I want to archive up.

I would think that the best method of archiving a CD32 game is to create an .iso file from the CD burning software of their choice or bin/cue files. Then archiving the parts in RAR (or Ace) format, which allows spanning the archive over several reasonably sized parts (good for uploading/downloading).
And a bit off-topic, but if anyone here is into the usenet scene, the latest rage is PAR files. If you get the PAR files for a multi-part archive, they can generate the missing parts you didn't get that may have been missing on your server or that didn't propogate well! I have tested this and it works like a charm! |

If you want a good ISO from a CD³² game use CDRWin to make an image .... most CD³² games aren´t bigger than 1 to 2 MB, so it isn´t really a problem to post them on the net, or maybe here in THE ZONE
Btw. look into Amiga Website Reviews, I just posted a link to some Isos ther |

I've just realised
There was a small flood of CD32 ISOs on alt.binaries.emulators.misc a day or two ago, although it didn't include Pirates Gold.
