MooVid 1.7b
Hiya,
Trying to track down this version, apparently it was part of BB4 at some point and was then removed, PM me if you know where I can find it Also I'm trying to get Action/MooVid to play avi files that I've converted on my PC, anyone know which codecs are supported? |

if it helps ive tried using: prism video file converter plus,with the following settings;
video compressor: cinepak codec by radius sound compressor: PCM uncompressed sound format: 22050 Hz, 16 bits,stereo this is for 24 fps playback in an AVI/MOV/QT file in action.as for moovid im looking myself for this one. edit:-beware though when converting to a format thats supported on the amiga the file is HUGE,i converted one to see how it worked to a file that displays in 640x480 and the file was well over 5 gig,320x200 a little over 4 gig.you get the idea. this was for a film nearly 2 hours long! no wonder the clips on the os 3.9 cd are only 2-3 minutes long! lol Last edited by roy bates; 17 January 2012 at 02:35. V1.6 was part of BB3 up to and including V1.0c. I don't seem to have V1.7b anywhere. |

MooVid 1.7b existed.
It was removed from BB3 by request of its author, Lazlo Torok. It was an update to 1.6, that contained mostly a new executable + a new avcodec.library for 68k. |

Looking at the CLI output from the version of MooVid that was included in BB3 V1.0c, it claims to be 1.6 (registered), dated 29.9.2002. The embedded version string also says the same thing.

Moovid 2 is actually v 1.3 iirc. 1.7b was originally created to be included with the then young OS4 afaik, it was never formally released, 1.6 is the official latest. Only OS4 beta-testers had access to that file.
