Sorry Going off topic I was asking anyone if it would be possible to use Skick in the future to load the Patched kickstart into Ram - This would mean you dont need the physical ROM
Also would be good for testing

A600 quickstart but change the ROM to your 1.3 ROM.

Add your hard drive as IDE0.

OK, so connecting the harddisk/cf and setting it as IDE0 as opposed to UAE... will ensure it uses the scsi.device in the rom file as opposed to winUAE booting bits?

Setting the CD to IDE0 instead of UAE stops it from booting! And if I boot from a WB install disk - with and without changing SCSI_DEVICE_NAME from scsi.device to uaehf.device, it still doesn't see the CF card!

Any ideas?

Thanks

IDE0 = scsi.device
UAE = uaehf.device

Double check in the adv chipset settings whether A600/A1200 IDE is selected.

Is there anywhere I can get a modified 1.3 with HD support?
It's specially usefull for Minimig, because in this machine KS is loaded into RAM... and it has only 2MB wich become 1.5MB after loading KS3.1/3.0/20.05
The extra small 256KB would be usefull

thanks
