Alien Breed TA whd

Request of the day : I'm looking for a hd installed version of Alien Breed Tower Assault. Unfortunately, it seems that the whdload version is only ECS (cd32 install exists with jst). So, I'd be glad if someone can post the whdload version to the zone and/or the jst cd32 version.

The fact is that I'm looking for a hd-installed version of the game, whatever it is ; I thought that the whdload install was only for the ECS version, but if plasmatron uploads an AGA whdload version, that's even better.

Alien Breed and Alien Breed 2 AGA ( Tower Assault ) in the zone.

Well, thanks, but... in fact, Alien Breed 2 is not Tower Assault. Tower Assault is the third game in the AB series (not counting AB SE) and was released on Amiga as well as on CD32. It is, imho, far better than AB2 because of its difficulty tuned down, its little additions to gameplay (possibility to walk backward while firing...), etc.

The one I'm looking is that one (I already have AB2 AGA).

BTW, I can't run AB1 with WinUAE. After it is launched, I'm kicked back to workbench with some error message (illegal instruction or such) ; so far, I have been unable to find a working whdload version of AB1 (although SE works).

Does it come from WinUAE ? Can it be fixed (by setting a specific option in WinUAE or using a special tooltype for whdload) ?

Anyway, still looking for a hd version of AB TA...

Not quite. ABTA is one single version for all amigas but it recognises chipset (AGA or ECS) and from the same disks can run with AGA graphics or ECS. So, if You have ABTA installed from disk all You need is to swap ECS slave with AGA one.
Of course I've uploaded this game for You (default slave is AGA). You may also use plain HD version which is less memory eating but it hangs at outro.

I didn't know that the game was released as a single ECS/AGA version. It's quite unusual to me.
