instead of prb

a lot of time i and others have created threads in prb.XXXXXX but its not a problem... so would a change to spt.XXXXXX (support) be better

Support issues are still problems, surely?

Indeed. Would be a different idea to create 'misc.' for the relevant few I'd say.

Or just a general hardware and software forum with problems as a sub forum.

Its weird when people just want to show off pictures of cool stuff and it is in a hardware problem pictures forum for example.

I agree with Djay for using Support.

Problem WinUAE
Support WinUAE
WinUAE Problem
WinUAE Support

From the above i think WinUAE Support makes more sense, than what the forum has now.

Don't think any forum should use acronyms for Support, Problem or other, for many visitors can be misleading. Better to use the full name than acronym, maybe useful for non english forum users, having to use translators.

Okay I'm agree

- prb.forums were renamed to support.forums
- res.forums were renamed to request.forums
