Mugician Compilation

We didn't finish this serie in 1994. But i backed up all the binaries and found them recently on a CD....did some work on it, repairing, crunching and recode the mugician 2 replayer to get it to work as it should be. '
(thanks to Metin and Rhino for their help with the mugician 2 player)
after copying the files to the different disk and do some testing.
Today the first three are ready.

so nothing fancy, but just released as we should have done back in 1994
for all of you who likes it...download it here:

I nearly used Mugician for Bill's Tomato Game, but Bill had problems getting the binary player code working, so I switched back to Protracker.

Cool, thanks a lot for investing your time to create this, Jarre.

I had to laugh reading all the titles. When the tunes were created for our games, the titles were merely quick 'n' dirty names for internal music editor use because we didn't think the titles would one day be publicly visible. The titles often contained word puns, such as "SIDsor hands", an obvious wink to the Edward Scissorhands film, which was released around that time.

Have a nice weekend everyone.

Hahaha, yes. It also pleasantly reminds me of the words we conceived for the many level passwords of our game Clockwiser. All words had to be eight characters, and as we needed more than hundred passwords, the words we conceived became ever more stupid. One example is "blaarzak", which means... uhm... a blistering scrotum in Dutch.

I wish I knew what happened to my Mugician disks. I wrote a few tracks on it. It was great.

Metin, what was Reinier's PC version of Mugician called? I can't remember.

Hi Mike!

Nice to see your Amiga heart is still beating strong.

Reinier's Windows sequel to Mugician was initially called Syntrax, and was later renamed to Jaytrax, because we worked for a company called Jaytown in those days. But I believe the last version is called Syntrax again, because otherwise it wasn't confusing enough.

I created the title image, which is the size of a stamp on modern displays.

JTRAX is somehow cool, except the .DMU import is not working as it should...
