I finally retrieved my username and password (contacted IComp support) - but in my order history I can see 'P96 RTG software downloads expired'. If I purchased release 2.2 last month (downloaded it just once), does it mean I have to purchase it once again to get release 2.3?

As far as I remember Jens wrote somewhere, that the shop software needed a maximum number of downloads to be set and that he would reset the counter on request. Just send them another email.

I would raise this topic on icomp forum: https://forum.icomp.de/
Jens emphasizes this is the best way to address support questions.

Contacted Jens once again, got the following response:

Hi,

please relay this information:

The time period for free updates is one year. The current expiration
notice is a result of a wring configuration. I have to talk to my admin
to make a global change in the database that all previous sales of P96
are good until december 31st of this year.

ciao,

That's BS, you should at least be able to download the version you've paid for and the last update before your time expired

As announced, the database has been adapted to reflect what I initially intended: Free updates for one year and download counters reset to a higher number. I did get a number of e-Mails even after the database has been worked on, and I answered every single one of them. However, before you send another e-mail, please try to download the update now, as it should just work now.

I know this is a year later, but curious if others had hassles.
I signed up to purchase P96 (after receiving a ZZ9000) .. had to sign up to "see" P96 to purchase. Paid the "recommended" amount.. got the emails and everything. I waited for an email before, nothing, and went to bed.
New day, can't wait to rip into it, no email so i figured i should login and see if it exists but i can't login... i used the email and password from the night before but i don't exist in the system.... i use the element inspector to make sure my password is right. I have confirmation emails, they've been clicked.... this is mildly annoying.
I have an order number and paypal statement, i haven't done anything wrong on my end.

I wouldn't mind if i could at least grab P96 to install and setup until i get my key, but i can't even start the ZZ9000 install because it needs P96 installed first!

Is there a shareware version you can grab some somewhere and I'll update it with a key once i get one from Individual computers?

Get it off Aminet and then update once you get the file from IC. I'm assuming you already contacted their customer support to help resolve the issue?

Very smooth process for me. I bought directly from Jens since I like to stay legit on any software I use. He immediately emailed me a link to download the P96 update.

Well to name this "pay what you want" is stretching it ... Truth is:
Recommended price:12,96 €
Minimal price:8,96 €

So pay 8,96 or more is the price of the software ..

Is it _really_ a stretch?? C'mon... I looked for where I could enter in "whatever amount" but the price+enter your own is not really a big deal. If you want to support CURRENT "Classic" hardware as well as new.

I paid because I want CyberVisionPPC support. Though it might not come into being because of lack of hardware the coders have, but..I also attempt to support Amiga. I don't think it's a high price, and you could raise it if you want to.

You need to be signed in with your account to see the software for sale.
