Without fully reading your post I was already mentally composing a letter of complaint to the post office regarding the lack of Amiga games in the line up... Bloody hell it's half Amiga! Nice one post office!!

I’m disappointed by the lack of Manic Miner/Jet Set Willy, if I ever pick up a Spectrum MM will be the first game I play.

True but they had to pick only 8 and the others had more a widespread appeal and were on other formats too.

I'd say 5/8 are Amiga games. Micro Machines was on the Amiga. I'm not much of a stamp collector but I'll definitely be buying these!

They even have my first ever computer game - Dizzy on the Commodore 64. Lovely set.

Yeah but was a port of a NES game, the others released on the Amiga as originals.

Not only surprised the Amiga got so much love, but even the BBC Micro got mentioned with Elite.

Well that makes a bloody change that the Amiga hasn't been sidelined, good job

Jaz Rignall had a hand in this apparently. You've got to admit it's an absolute belter of a line up. Difficult to fault it.
We're taking it as a given they've got to be British games, I think he's got the biggest ones of the period.

A nice choice of games.
With "The Sentinel" (Rainbird/Firebird) would be even better

Great news to raise the profile of Amiga games and the platform in general! It was a shame that the BBC Radio 5 Live took the easy option and interviewed members of the ex-Core development of Tomb Raider rather than talking to Sensible or Team-17 when they covered the story.

There were more stamps related to Tomb raider alone than both Sensible and Team 17 combined.

Not to mention that it's possible that Paul Andrews might own Willy (though also possibly not as last I looked he'd trademarked a fan-version and not the original sprite) and he came down hard on a youtuber that used Horace in her videos, which he has also trademarked.

Dizzy was probably a much safer bet.
