Remeber this is a BVISION for A1200 cards, you need a CVision for big box amiga accelerators.

yeah, it's OK, but better get a g-rex or mediator... preferably a g-rex then you could use a voodoo3 (faster than bvision) and some other cards, see my signature
If you get a bppc, find a DCE one as they are all rev2 boards and can work without errors with the g-rex. I recommend g-rex because: 1. I have one and it is OK 2. it is cheaper than any mediator |

If one doesn't need PCI ethernet cards, soundcards and TV cards, then there is no reason for buying a G-Rex or a Mediator. Also there is a reason why G-Rex are cheaper than Mediator.
Furthermore, most DCE BPPC boards are massively overclocked from the day they were produced, meaning they have a shorter lifetime. Only time you need a rev. 2 board is when you want to use a G-Rex; BVision and Mediator doesn't care. |

yeah there's a reason mediators are over-prized... it's called Elbox!

I believe if G-Rex worked with all rev. of the BPPC card, the G-Rex would cost the same as a Mediator board.
Anyway, I'm not interested in starting a debate of which is better, the G-Rex or the Mediator, as in the end it is personal preferences. I'm just posting some points that one should keep in consideration. |

couldn't agree more DoctorQ , but as always amiga hardware is always overpriced
personally I think both are fine but to me it was a matter of price also... |
