A608 if they ever get made

http://www.guildserver.co.uk/forums/AmiDev/

A dual boot Kickstart containing a KS3.1 v40.63 & a KS1.3 v34.5 (patched for IDE)?

Rom switch can be useful, Amigakit sell them.

Then you can have 1.3Rom for those older games on Floppy and 3.1Rom for your OS, you can run OS3.1 or Classic Workbench 68k.

I'd suggest a 2mb SRAM card, this plugs into the PCMCIA socket and gives you 2mb Fast Ram.

This config is great for running many of the WHDLoad games, and is what I have on my A600 at the moment.

Other upgrades such Accelerators that clip over the CPU are very rare and very expensive, so only for the hard core collector.

Take a look at Zetr0's A608 thread, and put your name down for one of those, however don't get your hopes on getting that in the very near future.

Another interesting project is the people behind the Indivison AGA are planning to release an upgrade for the A600 although full details not yet announced. Keep and eye on that, I will be for sure!

Another option either internally or externally is a HxC floppy emaulator, like the one I have here:

Enjoy
Steve.

Yup, but I think it is cheaper and way easier to use a 27C800 EPROM and a switch as Kipper2k did (see my link above.)

It doesn't take up any precious room inside the case whereas the AmigaKit kickstart switcher is huge.

I can vouch for them being a nice product though. I got mine probably over a year ago now and I think it's ace
