I downloaded the new version 1.0223ß. Unfortunately, only "update.txt" could be extracted with unrar 3.80. On Amiga side lha/lzx/zip is known to work better. Unrar needs a lot of memory too.

If you release a adf and hd version it should be separat archives. Make things easier.

Please unpack form your PC or Mac machine. We take this information for future games, i think zip are the best solution for use the same archive in de Amiga side and Pc/Mac side.

Now we preffer not change format because the link are in lot of places and change file name broke all my links. I'll take this consideration for the future.
In a few days i'll upload to the Zone and Aminet as lha for HD version and adf zipped for the diskfloppy version.

LHA is the only real solution when you want to consider all. PCs and Macs can deal with it well.

There are many more bugs than just slowdowns in this game.

Here is quick dirty video: [ Show youtube player ]

This video is not public on YouTube. Just posting it here.

Brus Lii Final Release available as free download

Since hipoonios took the trouble to try to play this through, I decided to give this a try and it doesn't work. Did you even test in real hardware?

Tried in an A600 with ACA620 (EC020+10MB Fast RAM), copied the folder to the HD as instructed by the readme, and it crashes with a guru after language selection. Pic enclosed.

Then I decided to try to boot with no startup sequence and test again from shell, as is and then disabling the 020. Now the game crashes with "Bad IFF format" error instead. Also pic attached.

So now what? I copied it to RAM and it didn't work either. Same error.

As a last try, I put the ADF in a floppy to see what happens, and it worked.

It can't be the filesystem because even though my hard drive has PFS3, RAM uses FFS.

Anyway, even if working from floppy, it has all the issues hipoonios mentioned. The slowdowns make it unplayable. My system is faster than a stock A1200. It takes 3 enemies for everything to get super slow. Also there is sprite flickering every now and then. I couldn't play past the first level as is (hipoonios, as usual, you have a patience of steel!). I am mentioning this mainly because you say "works on any Amiga with 1MB". "Works" needs to be more than booting up. You also said "020 recommended" yet my 020 setup doesn't run this properly.

You need to test in real hardware more. As it is, it runs on a very specific config.

Thanks Akira for testing and confirming that these bugs happening on real hardware. Yes, the sprite flickering is really annoying!

Found one more bug now that I watch the video again. On stage 3: If you get hit, you get more energy instead of losing energy?

I know you said you want to focus on your next game and are not interested in fixing the bugs. But fell I wanted to mention them, even if you are aware of them.

The game was tested on Amiga500 , 1200, vampire and A400 stock, we don´t have more real hard to test it. The game was designed for play on Amiga500 with disk drive, i love the old school style. All game data was compressed and this is the trouble in some workbenchs configs when you try to run form HD,possible need some libs that i have and you not. All other things you mention are because you not initialized de pp ram patch includes in the disk.

Now you have a new download link with uncompress game folder and adf all in lha.
