Big grin A500 + A590 HD = Can Read CD Rom Drive ???

I bought an A500 with A590 Hard disk connected on the side then It comes with a CD Rom drive enabling the A500 to read cd rom discs.

The A500 has a 2.0 Rom which I took from a broken A600 i got.

But then the HDD got problem so I format the A590 HD and put a new workbench 2.05 in

The problem is now it wont Read the CD ROM.

I bet is due to the fact I format the A590 HD right ?

So how do I enable the A500+A590 to boot / read the Cd rom as before ?

any drivers, utilities need to be installed on the A590HD first ?

Please help!

The A500 has 2.0 Rom, 2.05 WB, A590 Hard disk space is 690 MB

Thanks!

You have to install a proper CDFileSystem Just check out the Aminet for AmiCDFS ! If that doesn´t work with your CDRom, try the IDEfix97 Demo from Aminet

I got a pc 2 amiga link up cable, prolly going to use that.
