bought the trademark 128mb edo sims from effy, been a while. I haven't tried them yet, but since they are brand new items, not much can be wrong right ?

recommended seller with perfect communication

bought a 1200 mobo, scandoubler, bppc + scsi from lord spider. All items arrived safely in good condition. This was my highest transaction so far, so I was quite glad everything went ok. I wonder where this guy gets all these bppcs from ?

Well i'm glad you didnt have any hassle with Lord Spider seeing as he sold me a *working* 100% A4000 motherboard ...which infact had Battery damage and I later learned the audio chipset wasn't working either. He couldn't be bothered to reply to emails. Great Seller *Not* Highly Recommended.

PS he's Polish (living in Berlin) so he gets alot of his kit from..you guessed it Poland.

My dealings.

Elbox - No problems and great support. A little slow on new product release : Wheres the Dragon ?

Effy : Belgian Computer Club, No problems whatsoever - fast delivery. ( good advertising )

Leaman computing - excellent sevice.

Versalia - First time I dealt with these guys I brought a catweasel no problems there with thier service.
Had problems with the card and ended up dealing with Jens directly at individual computers, that guy is single handidly responsible for keeping the Amiga alive I reckon - support 2nd to none.

2nd time Im not so happy brought a set of 3.1 roms for the 1200 and for the 2000 from versalia
My 1200 3.1 roms work , thiers fail with a red and black flashing screen, i put my right hand rom in and it works, the one they supplied is either dead or unprogramed, so far no replacement chip and no money returned... I dont know what to make of that.

I have a number of Ebay ppl im waiting on ATM more on those transactions as they are completed.

My 2c worth

I've bought stuff from Electroblaster and Zetro. Both are excellent sellers and would definitely buy from them again.

sold an 8MB + 33mhz fpu A1200 upgrade card to Boing 1000,

Had some technical issues, but we had great communication and even though we couldn`t sort out the problem we returned items and monies.

A pleasure to do business with, and would do business with again!

(it turned out in the end that the postage had rattled free the crystal and the card woudln`t function, after about 20 mins the card was up and working again... its a shame....)

hopefully next time my friend...
