Benefactor randomly crashing in WinUAE 4.1.0

Hello.

Before (about 7 years ago) I played the Benefactor without crashing (guru meditation) with older WinUAE, probably with version 3x.

Now I used WinUAE 4.1.0, used the same adf disks and this will happen:
After 15 m of playing: [ Show youtube player ]
After 1 h 55 min of playing: [ Show youtube player ]
After 2 h 52 min of playing: [ Show youtube player ]

My question is: Can it be caused by WinUAE? Can it be fixed by most recent version? I know that this is hard question but mayme someone will remember like "yes, in that version was this bug that could cause it, now it is fixed".

I would like to stick with WinUAE 4.1.0 if possible, that is reason why I just not upgrade it. Also, playing three hours to check if it will crash is not best way how to test it

What disk set are you using?

This is a verified working set:

... Benefactor (1994)(Psygnosis)(Disk 1 of 3)[cr CLS][f trainer FLT][t +3 FLT].adf
... Benefactor (1994)(Psygnosis)(Disk 2 of 3)[cr CLS].adf
... Benefactor (1994)(Psygnosis)(Disk 3 of 3)[cr CLS].adf

Or even replace disk 1 with "Benefactor (1994)(Psygnosis)(Disk 1 of 3)[cr CLS][t +3 RBS].adf"; which is what I use.

Can you give me md5 hashes of that disks? From there for example: http://onlinemd5.com/

But like I said, I using still same disks and before it was ok. Or I was lucky. Did you played it also several hours without quit/crash?

Nope, never played for more than 5 minutes as I suck at the game and don't think I've even passed the 1st level

Anyway. Just put the game on, skipped to levels on the 2nd disk, watched a movie (1 hour and 35 minutes) and then checked WinUAE. The game is still running where I left it:

Standard question: Quickstart 1.3 config?

Sometimes working, sometimes not working with almost-A500 config is simply undefined

I'm having a terrible Monday, but this at least made me feel a bit better. Thought I was just getting old.

But i finished it on the real machine in the past

I think it's just a question of practice

No, but almost. I attached the config.

Executed like this:

winuae.exe -f Configurations\a500.uae -cfgparam floppy_speed=800 -cfgparam use_gui=no -cfgparam floppy0=..\..\hry\amiga\Benefactor-disk1.adf -cfgparam diskimage0=..\..\hry\amiga\Benefactor-disk1.adf -cfgparam diskimage1=..\..\hry\amiga\Benefactor-disk2.adf -cfgparam diskimage2=..\..\hry\amiga\Benefactor-disk3.adf

Could it help to use cycle exact?

I tried to load state into second world, pressed f11 to run it at 1000 fps for a while and also no crash at all. But when I playing it, then it will crash somewhere.

(I checked the disks - I have same like you)

Yes, you should always use "Cycle-exact (Full)" for any A500 games.
