Run Time Error With Custom Configuration

Since updating to the latest WinUAE, and using the custom configuration I have attached below, I get the following error box every time I try to select it;

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Games\Amiga\WinUAE\WinUAE.exe

This program has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information."

It doesn't seem to fail with any of my other custom configurations, and the only difference between them and this one is the chip settings etc (display and sound output etc are set the same). Any ideas whats causing this error? Thanks...

I've attached the bootlog file, but a search of my hard drive doesn't see any file callled "winuaelog" I am afraid, not even after a succesful running of the program (the bootlog above is a boot into my default configuration, then an attempt to switch to the config already attached)...

Tick log-checkbox in misc-panel before starting emulation.

Ok, done that; file attached. This is booting under my own default config, starting emulation, and then attempting to switch to the problem config. Let me know if there's something else you want me to do for you

Erm, what is so hard to understand on this message ? You try to use 512MB of memroy which you don't have. Probably you pushed the Z3-Fast slider to the max.

You should donate your PC another chip of memory or at least increase the size of the page file.

Well, bearing in mind I didn't look at the second file requested, trusting the opinion of the programmer over my own lack of experience, it wasn't so obvious to me.

Yes I had. And although I had thought I'd used this profile in the past, doing some experimentation with it, and older versions of WinUAE (0821R4) shows that perhaps I hadn't done so after all... It crashes the older version too. Problem solved, I guess.

Page file is auto set by Windows, with 5gb free on my HDD... not in any situation to add more physical memory, sadly.

C'mon!
Even with "only" 5 GB free on your HDD, you can *always* forbid Windows to do the paging for you and set a paging file yourself!

Maybe i'm wrong, but i believe i remember something that the maximum for virtual memory (pagefile) in win9x/me depended on the available physical memory. (I think it was 3 or 4 times physical memory, but not sure about that)

perhaps you should ask yourself, if you really need that much Z3-memory
