I've installed successfully Toolmanager 3.1 on my Classicwb 3.1.
Already created the programs list, their icons (brushes), and the dock, but when i try to save and use it, it shows this message: Can't write to file ENV:ToolManager.prefs Does anyone knows whats causing this issue and how to fix it? Last edited by Immortal; 05 December 2018 at 00:48. |

Take this test:
- Save As ToolManager.prefs on another path, also in RAM - Copy ToolManager.prefs to SYS:Prefs/Env-Archive/ - Now the settings have been done manually - Reboot the system Last edited by AMIGASYSTEM; 05 December 2018 at 00:39. |

If you have copied/Saved in SYS:Prefs/Env-Archive/ToolManager.prefs
After the system reboot you should no longer have any request, tested Last edited by AMIGASYSTEM; 05 December 2018 at 18:22. |

Thank you so much for the video AMIGASYSTEM
I might have found the problem, ive detected the same file (toolmanager.prefs) with 2 different sizes on different locations, i think it was created during severals reinstallations of toolmanager. Dont you mind to send me your toolmanager.prefs file? |

I have only saved the default one then empty
Of the two saved config, rename one and leave only the one present in ENV |

toolmanager.prefs it should not be in SYS:Prefs, you can rename it or delete it (check what is saved in the file)

Thanks for your help AMIGASYSTEM! after following your tips, now the dock works
The only thing weird, its when i save the preferences, sometimes it works as it should, but on other instances gives me the same error has before, but if i restart my machine, the changes i made appear on the dock. I dont understand, i guess this program its very temperamental |

Nevermind, most of those icons comes packed with MagicWB.
Im customizing my dock now, and damn, its starting to look good BTW is there a way, to "shrink" the height of the dock icons? right now they are taller, but i see other instalations with the icons wider than tall, like the 2 images ive shared above.
