Microvitec M1438S and problem with screen width

Well. I have A4000 with custom 3.9 ROM. I've installed OS 3.9 and I can't understand, why on the left side I see this „belt”. It's Multiscan Productivity 640 × 480. Playing with overscan didn't help - I can't slide this to the left side. Any suggestions?

It's supposed to be that way. Commodore couldn't do any better. There are some border blanking programs on Aminet you could try out, as well as updated screenmode definitions.

Ah yes... now I'm using HighGFX. It isn't perfect, but I have more space on WB at least. Thanks!

You can change the tooltype for TOTCLKS.
It will lower the refresh to 50 frames but it will fill the monitor 100%.
More can be found in the highgfx-readme.
