@DH
I still vouch for him! He is the nicest of blokes.
When I spoke to him on the phone he didn’t mention any significant life events (doesn’t preclude one though). He did say that he has been hugely busy with real life. RichMK, your gear is probably in the safest place that it can be, just frustrating for you that it isn’t with you right now. I have absolute faith that you will get your gear back when Keith returns.

Personally, I don't know how anyone can defend the actions, no matter how much of a good guy he's been in the past.

It's been several months, no matter whats happened, he has had five minutes available at some point to send out an email to those who's kit he's got.

Lack of communication is always the worst option if somethings gone on. Even if it's just a case of saying he's been busy and not had time to look, sure they might be pissed still, but at least they'd know and not be starting threads about the poor service. The longer this thread and others like it, emails and private messages are ignored, the more he looks like a crook, even if that isn't the case.

I can also sympathise with what you have said, and it does seem a tad unusual that there hasn't been any comms with regards to this. However, I also know someone who lost a family member quite a few years back and completely went AWOL from the internet for about 18 months. Absolutely no comms whatsoever and when they eventually returned, their reason became apparent and their apologies were wholeheartedly accepted. Their AWOL was simply not because they didn't have time, it was simply because they just didn't want to expose themselves to the internet for reasons we just don't understand.

Obviously Zetr0 is a different case, and what is deemed to be acceptable has obviously passed, hence the reason for this thread. I still say he'll sort this out and be very humble about it too. We'll just have to wait and see and hopefully the outcome will be in everyone's best interests.

Two months since last post here.
Perhaps a mod could try and contact Keith (Zetr0)?

I have kinda given up hope that i'll ever see the stuff again...

Life is to short to hold grudges, and I do hope nothing serious has happened to Keith or any close family member of his, I'm sure he has his reason's for keeping the stuff / lack of contact for the past (not far off a year now)..

Maybe one day

I mean, if you want me to I can as he's a friend.

...but, from what I know of Keith, he'd answer any e-mails / PMs, especially on a business level.

So to me this means that possibly he's going through some kind of hardship / difficult period in his life and not even looked at his computer as there's too much other stuff on his mind

Unfortunately I've also been there in the past... and close to it again given all the shit that I've recently had to deal with...

Yeah, I know, my above reply doesn't really help you much at all RichMK, but he is a good guy and hasn't done anything intentionally, promise

Hopefully sometime in the future he'll get back to you and make up for everything ten fold.

I don't like to "bump" up my post, but would appreciate if it wasn't automatically pruned off just yet..

Just to say, still no contact from Keith in any way.

Had this mischief happened in Spain, you could have considered sending to his front door the frock-coated debt collector .

hahah yeah...

tbh, I didn't expect to get ripped off with probably £50-£60 quids worth of stuff from a long standing member and a huge backing of "he's a good man" from fellow members on here. He stole my stuff and hasn't been on here for a year since....

If that's all it took to get rid of a bad egg we should have all chipped in years ago and paid him off!

Just dumping on him without knowing what's going on isn't going to bring your kit back. Just let it go until he some day turns up, you can be sure this will be addressed on your behalf if you're not around. And hopefully you won't feel royally stupid for having said these things when you learn the truth.

I'm sure you will get your stuff back eventually, as much as I can understand why you're upset I highly doubt that it has been "stolen".

Hopefully Zetr0 is alright, he's a valuable member.
