Donk! The Samurai Duck
Has this game EVER been beaten?
after about 8 hours of play time(and at least a hundred levels beaten), I've still not gotten any clue as to how many more levels I have to beat to finish this behemoth of a game. |

The reviews in Amiga Power and Amiga Format suggest it has just the 112 levels.
Never come close to beating it but it's a game I quite like. It's not at all original or remarkable in any way but it's quite 'nice' to actually play. |

There is a save function in the game, press 'S' on the map screen. You do need a blank disk to save them onto. 'L' unsurprisingly loads the saved games. (EDIT: Too slow, the penny already dropped )
No idea of a world map though, that would be interesting to see the full map in all its glory. |

i think the load/save is broken(or unuseable for unreg'd users) in the WHDLoad version of the game, did this ever get a "fixed" adf release?

Strangely it needs a floppy disk inserted to save (which you probably wouldn't expect) so try that if you haven't already, it should work then.

I remember beating this as a kid using a save disk. Seem to remember there was an outro with Donk meeting John Major or something similar!

Save game isn't supported yet via WHDLoad. Bored confirmed it.

Still works with floppy disk though so it's not a total lost cause
