Hello, world!

Quick intro, I realized I already made a post somewhere else before this one.

Anyway, about me: I am a software engineer from Nijmegen, NL. I started out computer life about 1984 on my uncle's C64. Then finally got one myself in 1986; mainly used it for machine language hacking - I remember writing my own music/sprite/graphics editor, all of which got lost in time somewhere. My C64 still works, although I had to replace the PLA and PSU.

To be honest I don't use an Amiga very much, I received an A500+ about 20 years ago but it never worked properly. It has now degraded to the point where it won't even boot. My main interest right now is getting the thing to work again somehow.

Welcome MICHIEL. nice to see you here. The A500+ is a great machine and it should give you loads of fun. If you enjoy assembly programming, this little beast should provide years of joy.

If it's not booting then probably the battery has corroded the motherboard?

Will need to see pics of the motherboard. (I'm not hardware expert, but A500+ has a leaky battery on the motherboard). Also does it come with a dutch keyboard? I've never seen a dutch Amiga keyboard before.
