Hooooo Was there an account purge?

It's been a while since I last logged in (probably when I posted this: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=86414) and I was not able to recover my account today.

Also, I was able to create an account with the same username as before, indicating my previous account was gone.

Interesting... and disappointing.

Also, explains why I had to recreate my account earlier this year.

But, I am neither "dead" nor "fake".

I'm a long-time Amiga devotee that, simply, has infrequent need to actually post on Internet forums. I guess I'll stick to the one where I'm welcome.

You are welcome, you are also welcome to not be so infrequent and certainly not cry about reasonable rules regards your account.

EAB is like any other forum, it only thrives through the interactions of its members, if your interaction is so infrequent, youre not really conducive to the membership.

I would question just how much of an Amiga 'devotee' you really are on that basis.

Well, 58 post in 13 years on the Amiga.org forum doesn't show real devotion for Amiga forums neither.

But the beauty of it is that EAB is not a closed platform like other forums, even if your account had expired, you can access/read all the info within and benefit from arguably the best information pool regarding Amiga that there is online.

If you really do post so infrequently, I don't see why it is a problem to register again, especially if your previous username doesn't get locked out.

Now those two posts you made could have been used more productively/Amiga-ly, couldn't they?
