Using GOTEK USB floppy emulator as external floppy for Amiga 1200

I have an Amiga 1200 and do not want to mutilate its case by cutting holes for installing the GOTEK USB floppy emulator internally as DF0.

Is it possible to use the GOTEK USB floppy emulator externally as DF1? If so, where can I get the appropriate cable / adapter to attach it to the Amiga?

You can also simply replace the floppy drive from a working/broken external floppy caddy with the Gotek

This one makes you able to install the Gotek drive internally without cutting the casing. It looks like a floppy sticking out with the buttons and display. It is made to work with Amiga 1200 and 500.

I've also got this. Not got round to installing yet though. Going to be getting back to Amiga stuff soon

I got back to it a few months ago. It has been over 20 years

I suddenly woke up and found my old Amiga 500 and one 600 that was brought into my house many years ago. From there on I have upgraded and ordering more Amigas and all kinds of stuff. Even made my own retro room. It seems there is no way back from this

Really enjoying it and remember why the Amiga is so special

I hope you will enjoy the return to Amiga as much as me
