Login attempts

When the user authentication fails and you are presented with the "you have used x of of 5 attempts", when is this reset back to 0?

I know if you have used all you can't login for 15 minutes, but recently i have failed 1 login attempt, rather then retrying, i closed and reopened browser. EAB then deducted the second failure attempt automatically.

Is this based over a 24 hour period or set time ?

It gets reset once you successfully log in.
