2.1 developer cd from Vesalia

Is this worth buying for someone who has no interest in OS 3.5? What more would I get that the 3.1 NDK doesn't give me? I know it's only fifteen quid, but if I'm not getting anything more than I already have, I don't see much point. Unless you guys know differently...

It contains a lot more than the 3.1 NDK.
I don't know why you wouldn't be interested in the various improvements that have gone into OS3.5, it craps all over 3.1 really.

While it certainly makes sense to have the most recent NDK available I wouldn't write any software which requires OS3.5 or 3.9, as long as it can be avoided. And most of the time it can.

Also be careful when you are interested in assembly programming. IIRC some of the #?.i headers in the recent NDKs are broken.

Hmm, not a great deal of positive support for this. I'll not bother then.

Minuous, I don't have OS 3.5 and don't really view it as `Classic Amiga`, in the sense that when I was using my Amiga all those years ago, it shipped with 3.1. I have no doubt 3.5 is better; but for programming for my own amusement, is it any real benefit?

I actually dropped back down to 3.1 as it seemed to be a bit faster.
