I have played it now too. I agree, it's a fun game. But after a few levels it becomes a bit unfair and boring. Enemies needs a lot of hits to kill.
On level 7 the enemies needs 8 hits to kill! Funny that the programmer recommends using a 040. The game actually plays fine on a plain A1200 in full speed. The game also works on a A500 with Kickstart 1.3. But just a bit slow. |

Yes, A1200 plus 4MB fast WinUAE config is enough.

Let me know if you can figure out how to control the second player. Joystick in port 1 does not work. No keys on keyboard work either.

Yeah, even swapping ports = nothing.
I don't know what happened here... ? (no exit) + Red spheres shot up the screen (no reaction to touching them) + a (THE ?) Dragon would taunt me now and then... Last edited by Nobby_UK; 12 April 2020 at 23:42. |

Seems to be a bit buggy, chatting with the author on LA forum. I hope he will put it together.
I managed to kill two guardian dragons in 1 player game, though. EDIT: typo in code bug confirmed, a new version will be uploaded to the Aminet. I think after this game is polished it will be a good candidate to a compo game. Last edited by Predseda; 17 April 2016 at 00:09. |

Main sprite ripped from Zelda and the game itself is not much fun after a couple of levels. It is repetitive and very fast becomes boring. AMOS does not help with positive reception of the game - clearly visible slowdown and limitations make this title iritating and the gameplay is weak. Music gets on my nerves.

It's ok for some time if played on A1200. But the sprite is ripped from Zelda, that is not cool plus the fact that doesn't look like a 16 bit game.
Opengameart has tons of free sprites and tiles Nice effort anyway. a very quick search, with term "zelda": http://opengameart.org/content/overh...rpg-characters http://opengameart.org/content/overh...ion-rpg-forest http://opengameart.org/content/rpg-items-0 http://opengameart.org/content/denzi...gonal-tilesets make a 16 color palette, recolor the thing and there you are. Improved version in Aminet already. Problem with P2 controls and with monsters stuck in walls should be solved.

Already played this when first posted on AMOS Factory last week and have already added the game to www.AmigaCoding.com
It's a good game, though I agree it runs very slowly... but then I have been playing it in WinUAE with my A600 setup (8MB chipRAM and 68000 CPU). I agree it gets repetitive, but it's such a simple game that becomes harder the further you progress. In the original release there is a maximum of 9 levels before the game loops back round again to Level 1. I don't know if that has changed in the latest version (1.2). |

Here too , played first posted on AMOS Factory and I have to say is a Good game for me, also agree with The Friend Lonewolf10 (cheers ). Its a little Slow.
And need 020 min .68000 not fluid. I say to the autor my impressions in Amos Factory thread. Improve the speed of The player and add some weapons May help. Yes its repetitive but have a Retro feel that I like. The músic is no bad. Well is 1 floppy that is nice effort . Enviado desde mi SM-N9005 mediante Tapatalk |

The ammount of levels is still 9, v1.02 only fixed some bugs. The music is okay, but as well as the graphics - not originaly made for this game.

Hi all,
Just found this thread today and wanted to say thanks for spending a bit of time playing my game. I have taken on-board your criticisms of using a sprite rip for the main character. There seems to be some concern over the recommended WinUAE spec. I playtested this game on a range of PC hardware and found the spec I recommended gave best results if emulating on low spec PC hardware. It is good to hear it plays well for you on A1200 configs as this was the environment I developed it in. If you continue to play and find any more bugs, I would very grateful to hear what happened so I can patch them and release a new version. Cheers! |

If you change the graphics and become original I believe it will have a strong following
