1200 fpu socket
Ive noticed the 1200 has an fpu location on the main board, can an fpu be soldered on? Any pros & cons to doing this?

It can yes but makes nowadays no sense.

Yes, that FPU is very slow and if you want to run stuff that benefits from the FPU, you should probably install an accelerator which has an FPU.
