FairLight crack of Frontier, NTSC switcher issue?

Today I fired up the Fairlight crack of Frontier (V1.05) and I noticed something.

After selecting NTSC on the crack screen and booting the game up it always reverts back to PAL, am I missing something or is this A500+ specific?

This is on a real A500+ with 2mb chip.

I haven't used that specific version of the game. But if Frontier tries to be OS-legal(ish) when it takes over the machine, it will do LoadView(0) which has the side effect of setting the mode to the default (PAL for your machine). If you were using a machine with Kickstart 1.3 instead, the NTSC/PAL switch would retain its setting.

You could try running a program like AmigaToNTSC before Frontier.

Hmm, well that makes sense. Thanks for the tip, I`ll try the app you recommend and see how it goes.
