Euro Soccer

I try to play the game Euro Soccer (1992)(Flair)[cr] in WinUAE (v14.2a), but the game ask for the second disk one and another time and refuse to begin.
Some one know the configuration needed by the emulator?, or is the second disk bad?

Is there any solution to get this working?

It seems you have to enable DF1:, althought you can not use it.

Okay, neither mai nor me can get this one (the cracked version) to run anymore Best 'result' I had was with the A500+ quickstart and both disks in DF0: & DF1:. Still asks for disk 2 (Game Disk) and when you insert it into DF0: you get a 'rainbow' flashing on screen and that's it.
Does anyone have the manual or copy protection answers?

Edit : Doesn't work with the IPF version of the second disk either.

I used the ADFs from gamearchives.com.( 7D1ADB92/8D9640E5 ) and it works OK on my A500. Kickstart 2 1mb CHIP and 1 floppy drive. However, the same ADFs exhibit TCD's rainbow with same config in WinUAE Beta13.
Always waited for KS screen before putting disk in. Also, it didn't matter write protected or not.

Thanks for checking it on your Amiga clenched
Could you check the max player info (both max and simultaneous) for HOL? That's the only reason why I try to get this one working

Just how many human players you can select and if they can play at the same time (using two joysticks) My guess would be that the game allows 2 players to play simultaneously. Thanks in advance

Ok, there is a screen where the joystick is moved u/d for one/two players but that doesn't tell me if it's simultaneous or not and I only have one joystick.

Since it's a football/soccer game it's pretty secure to assume it's simultaneous then. Will add the info now

Euro Soccer (1992)(Flair)[cr] tests:

Real A500 KS1.3 ECS Agnus 1M Chip: guru at startup (bad crack? Game code checks for 1M chip and puts data in upper chip instead of slow ram if 1M chip detected, crash comes later), 0.5M+0.5M: hangs sometime after animations.

A500+: loads, it seems "insert game disk" fading routine has some issues in emulation, will check later.

Animations are always corrupted (bad image?)

Loader is also quite bad (both ipf and adf), too short CPU wait for disk DMA, (blue color bars = checksum error when decompressing loaded data). This also happens randomly on my real Amiga.

EDIT: ipf load issues can be worked around by setting 200% disk speed

http://www.winuae.net/files/b/winuae.zip fixes the disk change issue (that was quite "interesting" way of detecting disk change..). Does not fix ipf problem.

Which quickstart should I use? Now it throws a Guru when disk 1 reaches track 38.
