Member Introductions section....

Can we get rid of it?
At least DO NOT INCLUDE IT in recent/unread posts searches?
PLEASE
Otherwise, PLEASE put it as an OFF TOPIC subforum.

Because some folks having fun on the first day? Maybe the whole 'junk' gets put into OT anyway, but for new members this is a good way to introduce themselves. We had quite a few of these threads recently and there was n suitable subforum for it. A lot of forums have this kind of place and I don't know why there should be none here.

So far I see -no- new member introductions, just us being goons.

Just it being left from today's posts and/or unread messages, like OT is, would be good for me.

Please move this Member Introduction sub-forum to OT... there is enough crap (non Amiga related) on this forum right now and this is the worst!

I agree move those thread to ot..The idea could be good, but only if it is deleted after 14 days and is for new members only..guess such thread will end up at postwhore crap thread

I've moved the junk threads that sprung up in the forum to "Off Topic - Stupidity".

To all - please do not use the "Member Introductions" unless it is a genuine introduction to yourself.

SensibleFan - I've had to delete four of your junk messages in this thread alone. Please stop posting this crap.

What is wrong with that thread? and surely a PM would have been enough if you have an issue!

edit: Had a think and changed the post slightly.. Any other issues please PM me!

Oh!
I didn't realize EAB started to implement the "if there's an issue PM a mod instead of putting it on the light of the public!" technique!

Are you a new member? No
Does anybody care about this issue enough to have it displayed every time I visit and hit "hshow new posts"? Certainly, my screen space is best devoted to solving Amiga issues.

Oh I have a lot of other threads I don't wanna see when I browse the todays posts. Maybe it's the best idea to implement an individual filter then. What do you think?

The greatest number of Today's Posts I have encountered here has taken up only three pages. I would hardly think this warrants filtering.
