Best Platform Game Ever on any Platform - Page 4

A real favourite of mine that I couldn't get enough of as a kid was Treasure Island Dizzy on the speccy, I used to play it hours and hours, I never ever found all the coins though haha!

I also LOVED Dynamite Dan II on the speccy...I spent/wasted many an hour on that game too.

Both Skool Daze are great games, I am not sure if they are platformers :-)

Its very good yes, but eventually all the levels look the same really :/ A little more variety would have made this game epic.

I liked:

Super CastleVania 4
Super Metroid.
Sonic 2/CD.
Super Mario Bros (any).
B.C Kid (all 3 episodes on the PC Engine).
Megaman (1,2,3).
Ristar.
Gunstar Heroes.
Mega Turrican.
Flink.
etc.

When it comes to platform games it's really hard to top those.

On Amiga:

P.C. Kid (the conversion from the PC Engine game).
Flink.
Turrican 2/3.
Bubba 'n' Stix.

There's no best, it's just a matter of personal preferences.

I really don't know what my favourite platform game is (not my favourite genre), but i always used to love playing 'Greendog: The Beached Surfer Dude' on the Mega Drive when i was younger

Game and Watch Don key Kong. Play it on a DS these days. Interesting that many of my son's generation (15 y.o) find it difficult!
