Winuae to TV via Svideo or Scart

Hi all. I had a CRT until recently. It was old and crappy but played Winuae perfectly at 50hz and in the correct aspect ratio. I now have a 27" syncmaster LCD which is great but doesnt recreate the orignal feel of the Amiga.
So... I would like to know if it possible to buy an adapter? One that goes from vga to scart or s video. Then, I would like to know which is better. Scart or Svideo? Audio will run through my amp as usual.

Cheers in advance
Tony

Well, you can buy a vga-2-scart, but you won't get the authentic look without a CRT screen.

The plan is to run Winuae from my PC to a CRT TV. Do you have any suggestions and do you, or anyone else, know what is better. S video or Scart?

Cheers

If you have a graphics card with SVideo-out, you should use that, it's the cheapest solution.

A SVideo-out is probably the easiest solution, but a VGA-to-Scart will provide the better picture as the RGB signal isn't degraded. I am planning on doing something similar myself.

Here is a guide to how you could do it: http://www.idiots.org.uk/vga_rgb_scart/

You can also buy a scart-to-vga cable, but I don't know if it can be used as vga-to-scart.

Think I`ve got a VGA-to-Scart thingy somewhere you can have, I`ve got no use for it at all. Now if it was the other way round scart to VGA that be a bit of kit I would`t want to get rid off

Really Cosmicfrog? That would be great if you could. How much you want for postage?

Cheers
