with your equipment you should have a look at Sample Wrench.
maybe it's usefull for you.

IF you have distortion issues and such, it could be related to capacitor problems in the sampler, too. Mine needs to warm up a bit before running properly (clear sign a recap is needed)

Moved house. New studio space and new ideas for the setup. Previously I toyed with the idea of using the Amiga as a MIDI sampler (I.e. controlling it externally using e.g. cubase) but online research drew a bit of a blank.

Any ideas out there? As much as I like octamed, it would be great to get some Paula crunch without being tied to the tracker format. Music -X might be an option as a half way house but did anyone make a bit of software that allows comprehensive(ish) external midi control of onboard sounds?
