Oh yes : Welcome bippy, nice to see you around and we all hope you have a nice stay
@Retro Of course you're right Zelda and Speris Legacy are no RPGs, but have you seen what HOL lists as the category for Speris Legacy? |

The best game is dificult to pick almost every one of them just when they was realised has been the greatest for me
But now afther all this years i think i had most fun playing; -Ambermoon<always wanted to play it,and just got my hands on it like 2 years ago and it was great> -Amberstar -Crystal Dragon -Fate<never finished it trying to do this now on uae> -It would be also Blade of destiny and M&M III if not the enormous amount of disk> -Legends1 dunno if second part was on amiga -Hero quest and Legend of Sorasil -DM,CSB<any1 here menage to open death pit,or get in there somehow?> -Moonstone<dunno if it can be counted as a rpg> -EOB 1,2<just to play third part i bought pc> -Wizardry VI -Shadowlands<anyone know how to get inside pyramid?,its some kind of bonus location i never discover how to get in> -Black Crypt But the winner is: 1-Fate 2-Ambermoon 3-Crystal Dragon All this 3 games never has been realised on any other platform. And haven seen anyone here mention ADOM, i never played it on amiga ,but im almost sure thers amiga version Edit If we count all votes DM prolly will be a winer,so i want to show u smth http://home.comcast.net/~SupportCD/XPGames.html You can find here DM,CSB,DM2 as a package for xp provided with many new futures. I don't think it is a proper RPG, but I would say Nethack has been one of the games I have spent the most time playing.
Otherwise my top 3 would be: 1(Favourite). Bloodwych, especially in multiplayer. 2. Dune(Listed in HOL as RPG, so don't argue with me ) 3. Moonstone: A Hard Days Knight(See above) |

I like the hacky kind of RPGs, so I've mostly enjoyed roguelike ports on the amiga, like NetHack, ADoM... and of course Rogue . When it comes to games I have the attention span of a three year old, so these story-light and [mostly] short games fit me well.

Best RPGs
Hello to anyone that may remember me. It's a been a while since i frequented this forum. The place is still looking good though!
The RPGs that i remember spending most time on were dungeon master and bloodwych. Both games were great to play and I dont think i remember anything else as good as these on the ol amiga. |

Well I can only comment on the ones I played, but back in the day I spent hours with these two:
Hired Guns DM2 (Skullkeep?) If we were going to include graphic adventures, obvious monkey 1&2, but two other favourites of mine are: Dreamweb Indiana Jones & The Fate of Atlantis I've very recently discovered that there was a last crusade graphic adventure before atlantis, which I have never played! It'll be one of the first things I try out when my A1200 arrives! |
