1 pixel gap between screens only Amos?

Is this only Amos or a quirk of the Amiga? some really cool effects like Parallax could be done but the 1 pixel horizontal gap that also effects a Bob crossing this point.

The copper does not usually have time to change all colors and other values etc. that is required for a new screen, if there is not a whole scanline available. During that time the palette is being changed, so its best to leave it empty, as all new colors may not yet be available.
