Compiling GCC 3.x for WarpOS

In an offshoot of the WarpOS SDL project, I'm wondering if anyone has an inkling of how to compile GCC 3.x for WarpOS.

On one hand I imagine it's something like running configure, giving it the flags from the current 2.95.3 version I'm running and letting it go.

On the other hand I figured there must be some sort of WarpOS specific source that would need to be in the new version GCC for it to work.

On the third hand what about the WarpOS sausage making like Elf2exe and Warpcollect (and startup.wos and end.o) that-I imagine I'd need source for? Or ...

Any thoughts?

Hedeon uploaded his MorphOS 4.4.5 configuration for producing WarpOS executables-and it works. Just changing one of my makefiles from ppc-amigaos-gcc to gcc produced a working executable which ran on the A4000.

And a pretty large package seems to work also.
