WTB KS 3.1 roms a1200

I want these, but not at ebay prices if possible..., I was thinking, $10 plus p&p, but I will allow eproms to be used, as long as you give a guarantee that they will work for anything i throw at them

What he's actually selling is blank erasable programmable EPROMS.... but by offering to supply them with "data of your choice" on them I guess he is offering to pirate 3.1 roms on your behalf At least that is how it looks. Cleverly he doesn't openly say "I will burn you a set of 3.1 ROMS" merely "data of your choice".... which I guess makes him think its "OK".

Unless of course you have to provide HIM with the data which makes it a bit different..... or maybe not

Strange (I've a good mind to email and ask )

You say you want a set for under $10. The problem is a blank EPROM costs around $7, and that is without shipping from Asia, so two EPROMS shipped to you is going to cost around $20.

I'm also interested in this.. How can there still be an abundance of 3.1 EPROMs decades later? Especially when the actual release of 3.1 was not that straightforward in the first place.. :-)

My favourite Eprom seller is selling the eproms $5 for 2, that is a lot cheaper than buying new, just dump your eprom etc, burn and you have replacement eproms. (did i mention 2 for $5

Edit... Me bad, they are $7 for 2, and if you want them to program the chip with your file its $1 for 2. (ask for the 120ns speed or faster)

Don't quote me on this but didn't Amigakit secure stock from the liquidation of a former Commodore/Escom/Amiga Technologies or whoever the hell owned the Amiga(!) supplier?

You mean EyeTech? Hardly the "Amiga(!) supplier".

But that is just it, there almost certainly wasn't any.

Face it there is no legitimate place to buy KS3.1 ROMs anymore, you're better off paying the least amount you can.

Or if possible getting a custom KS3.9 to avoid reboots.

@alexh

I dont understand your comments.

Our stock of Amiga 1200 Kickstart 3.1 is legitimate and genuine- they are mask ROMs manufactured by Amiga Technologies.

Here is a picture of what customers actually receive from us:
