Typhon Mk2: Need Manual / Jumper configuration

Hello my fellow forum chummies,

My good friend gave me a Typhoon Mk2 to test for him.

The Typhoon Mk2 has the full SCSI header and installed PLCC chip.

I have attempted to boot this card from KS3.0 and KS3.1 and to no avail. the harddrive belts along but still no boot OR pre boot (startup) menu.

so I need either the manunal (not on amiga.resource or amiga-hardware) or the jumper configuration detail

I appreciate your help

I had a Typhoon when they first came out - I got it from Power Computing - I thought it was an excellent card - I don't think they made too many - you never see them come up for sale "these days" - Hands up who wishes they kept all the Amiga stuff they ever had...

What is the item you wish you kept?

I wish I hadn't sold my last A1200 with the casing I dremeled for a Subway fitting - I must have been mad to get rid of that - it was in such good condition... oh well...

Hi Peter,
I got this card as part of an A1200 I bought from ikorudu last month. Guess I was lucky, then.

Yes- I think that was good fortune, sounds like you got a good package (if you'll pardon the expression) - I sold my Typhoon but always regreted it - I like the Blizzard 030 cards but I guess it's nice to have something different in your set up - I remember the typhoon card as looking well made and performing well - it was reliable.

I had mine in an A1200 desktop I had at the time - the first computer I ever had connected to the internet, browsing with Voyager!

Are you sure? That manual is for the Typhoon Mk I, not Mk II.

@thals:
Regarding the jumper settings, are there significant differences between the Mk I and MK II versions?

Well, the MK I board has only two jumpers, whereas the MK II features four of them - so yes, I guess there are significant differences...

BTW, find photos of the boards here:

Do you have a manual for the Mk II you could upload?

Well, in that case let's hope Zetr0's problem is caused by lack of knowledge about how to access the boot menu rather than incorrect jumper settings.

Guys... How is it possible to use 72 MByte on this card ? I'm seeing only 64MB on my WB dashboard. How can I enable the onboard 8 MByte on Typhoon MKII ? Or does MK I only have this advantage ?
