1995 Amiga Hall of Fame Voting time
I had to take out two nominations
UFO: Enemy unknown as AGA/CD32 versions were released in 94 and Death Mask as CD32 version out in 94, I was going to let it in but in the end I didnt. The rest were good so here is the poll. |

Dawn Patrol never came out in 1995... that's an old game - about the dudes in the jungle after the helicopter crashes...

I can't believe I just voted against MK, but I did. Shadow Fighter, just over MKII.

Pinball Illusions for me.. the others were all good contenders
Worms I found I grew tired of quickly.. Mortal Kombat 2 was good until the gore factor wore off.. Pinball Illusions I still play today, and that intro music was fabulous |

Colonization. It's not as good as Civilization but it was a proper conversion to the Amiga and is still highly addictive. Groovy music too.
And let's be honest; the New World setting sets it apart from the majority of Amiga games and their clichéd and overused fantasy/sci-fi themes. |

Pinball Illusions for me also. I love the Speedway course or whatever it's called.

Tough race between Colo, Pinball Illusions and ATR - but since I spent *much* time mastering ATR, even played it 5 days in a row with a mate back then (first time we found the space tracks and smiled like crazy as I got hold of the original ATR CD for the CD32, well, that one made the race. ATR rocks!

Going purely by how much I played each of them its a tight race between Worms, FOTAQ and Megaball!

Colonization without a doubt. Worms was fun, but it did not have me glued to the screen!
... but not long after I switched to the Dos version of Colonization. It's heaps better than the Amiga version |

So Worms! it is, it got out front early and never really looked like being caught.
I think in the polls for the next few years great games are going to be few and far between. |
