Maybe you can donate the rest of the money left, if any, to some form of research fund for the illness Paul was suffering from.

That's the one sarek2k

A few others have transferred money into the bank account by Internet transfer. This takes a few day though...

Of course I will keep everyone updated

As I don't have a PayPal account and international bank transfers are quite expensive I can't really contribute . Instead I've donated a small amount to a charity here in Poland that helps people with the condition Paul suffered from. Here's a link to their website in case someone else would like to help.

Just seen that £20 has been added to the Barclay bank account. I guess this must be you killergorilla?

I know somebody else was also going to use Internet transfer but I've forgotten who that was (please PM me or reply in this thread)

So far we have received the following amounts:

PayPal Account
£307.59

Barclays Account
£60.00

As for the wreathe, I'm not very good at picking these type of things... Maybe it would be best if each of us checked the below sites and made a choice. Perhaps we could setup some sort of poll and I'll order our favourite one early Monday morning for a Tuesday morning delivery?

Colonnade Florist
flower-uk.com
Exquisite Floral Designs
iflorist

As for what to write, we have had the following suggestions so far:

Quote:
We, the whole EAB Community, are shocked and in deepest sorrow to lost our beloved friend Paul. He was one of the nicest guys we've ever known, always on the bright side of life. We will miss you forever, Paul. Thanks for visting our planet, Green Amiga Alien. Rest in peace, wherever you are.
Quote:
Your lost friends are not dead, but gone before, advanced a stage or two upon that road which you must travel in the steps they trod.
Aristophanes
Quote:
People do not die for us immediately, but remain bathed in a sort of aura of life which bears no relation to true immortality but through which they continue to occupy our thoughts in the same way as when they were alive. It is as though they were traveling abroad.
~Marcel Proust
Quote:
In losing you Paul we lose a part of ourselves, a part that cannot be replaced through material wealth but in the spirit you gave to us through your presence on EAB which will live on in the hearts and minds of us all through time and space for which the Green Alien will forever be travelling.
Farewell dear friend till we all meet again.
