At least that was my score after track 31. My score didn't appear after I had finished the final track.

You may well be aware of this already but just in case, you have to wait for the title screen to cycle through to the highscore table before you can see your score, which is a bit rubbish. Just like the game really. My word, I hate this.

(I'm still using my previous highscore file from the previous Nitro competition - you can check the old thread for a comparison here; the new score is easy to spot...)

I second that. Can't believe it got so many votes.

On the other hand I think Jamie Woodhouse later created a real masterpiece with ATR which you loathe, too (read your Nitro comment on Lemon).

ATR is great, as is Micro Machines - though I have no idea whether it made it to the Amiga. I own all the Megadrive versions though.
Can anyone explain how the money is earned? I have come 1st to get nothing and come last to get 1 credit! Yet other times I earn 3 or 4 credits. I have no clue, is it just random? *shrugs*

My score 91000.

Lonewolf10

Money is gained by hitting the flying notes across the screen, or by hitting the 'C' markers on the track.

Gas is earnt by winning races, picking up 'G' markers and hitting into barrels.

And most importantly, the P tokens are points. Obviously...

What a crap game and so difficult. I hate how the car starts jittering from just a tiny nudge against an obstacle.

Cmon guys only 2 LA members havent posted a score.

If things stand as they are, 5 LA go through, 3 EAB go through, and thats with 1 group being completely EAB, so we're guaranteed to have 2 go through. lol

That's why we made this round two weeks To get ten people in already is a good effort in my opinion. It'll be great if all 16 end up contributing a score

This will be my last score. To do better than this I would have to start cheating

The last two weeks of the year may be difficult to manage, so yes, it's a good idea.
Thank you
