Thanks for the support guys. I really hope we can use this interest as a stepping stone for something bigger. I am convinced that the potential is there. There are quite a number of Amiga users locally and from what I've seen a decent number of people would be prepared to travel to such an event too. Regardless of that, another pub meet with a few more people will still happen at some point - it definitely adds something to the whole Amiga experience to meet with like-minded people in real life so I'd encourage anyone in other areas who is thinking along the same lines to take the plunge and do it.

Anyone welcome to come along for a few drinks and meeting and talking to like-minded people. We've only had a few people at each meet so far but everyone who has come along has been good company and a nice time has been had. So if you're about do join us! (And post this elsewhere if you can)

Thanks chaps! Yes, it was a good evening. Three of us came along once again for another enjoyable few hours with a few pints and pies (which I was reliably informed were very nice - I didn't have one myself).

Eventually I hope we can be in a position where more people are able to come - there's definitely some interest there

I'd like to get to a point where we can hold our own little events with machines to play with and/or be able to arrange car shares etc to go to other events around the country (such as the Play Expo in Blackpool maybe).

It's relatively short notice now but if anyone here is close by and fancies coming along we'll have a few people there.

The last meet unfortunately was postponed but we've got it scheduled in now with hopefully a good turnout.
