MAME: How to use HLSL?

Hi everyone,

I downloaded MAMEUI, but I cant configure the HLSL switches and keep them stored in the configuration files of the program.

When I try to configue it using the GUI, it works like a dream but my modifications are not saved with the program...

... And when I edit the configuration files of MAMEUI, my modifications are erased from the file, at the very start of the program!

What I am doing wrong, why MAMEUI erases my modifications? I have put them in the wrong configuration file? Or are them all wrong?!?

Help-me, please, aaaaah!

look for mame.ini. i have mine in root mame folder, not "ini" folder.
here you can read:

for specific game hlsl setting look into the HLSL folder (hlslpath). there you have a config file for each game - once you enabled it for the specific game.

I guess MAMEUI doesnt support the HSLS options. I switched to MAME, that didnt worked, I needed to reinstall it and following what you suggested, now finally it works. I didnt knew about the HLSL folder.
