Workbench execute routine

Hi,

does someone have working assembler code which calls a program in the same way Workbench would? (LoadSeg, CreateProc, SendMsg, etc...)

My curiosity has gotten the best of me. What exactly are you trying to do?

Invoke a program from another and make him think it was executed from Workbench

there's a little program called wbstart (comes with ToolManager? I don't remember) which does exactly that. You could resource it and you'll have what you want.

Unfortunetely that's what I thought you were going to say, I have no code for doing that. Normally programs are supposed to run from WB and CLI so you can use one of the Dos calls like System(), but as far as I know they load and start programs as if they were started from the CLI. I'd offer to right the code for you except I haven't done much assembly programing in the last ten years, I find assembly difficult now.
