Yes, ScummVM rules! Last year I've completed the FM Towns version of Zak McKracken, the full speech version of Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis and Loom (partially with speech) on my PSP.

I'm currently stuck on Full Throttle.I tend to get stuck for hours upon hours only to then finally work out the puzzle and get stuck again some 10 mins later.Still that's the beauty of these grand adventures. These work very nicely for xbox though i may complete Steel Sky on my Amiga just because that's where i started it all those years ago
If you're a keen adventure then Siberia 1 and 2 are worth a shot |

Yeah good wasn't it, unfortunatley it ended a little too quickly for a game of this type i thought but then again i basicly stayed glued to my amiga until that point
Is it one of the great adventures like Steel Sky or Monkey Island? maybe not the best looking back but it's got superb atmosphere and is one of my fondest Amiga memories, i say so what if it isn't.Very suitable music as well I tried convincing my friend at the time that although only top down and fairly simple, it was just as good as his return to Zork even if it didn't have real life actors in it - no idea if that is true though |

I guess OT, but, thank you, yes, the music of Dreamweb is so important to set the atmosphere... everything together in the game gives this atmosphere that's just the best ever. It is an experience. Because it is so short, everybody should play through it once I played through it like 5 times over the years. I agree it is way too short, but hey I myself like short games I'd rather have intense and short than long and diluted experience one has to keep in mind that "the candle that burns twice as bright only burns half as long...
and you have burnt so very very brightly Roy..." lol |

I'm due another playthrough seeing as iv'e forgotten most of what you have to do - it's been over 10 year now i guess since i played it.I'd rather play it not knowing what i have to do again.
Maybe it's just a collection of things or perhaps that unusal top down view, but there is a strong sense of attachment to some of the locations.Your own pad for example feels so cosy and familiar that i often wish i lived in such a place Atmosphere needs to be right for me to like a game sometimes and Dreamweb oozes it. One thing i do strongly remember is killing some old dude behind a glass counter i think and i remember thinking my action was not really called for conisidering he was a nice enough sort - had to kill him of course to progress the story.Probably the only flaw for me was that slightly jarring moment Last edited by Adropac2; 05 September 2008 at 18:42. |

Did anyone ever update the 68K version of Scumm to support RTG cards (as opposed to AGA)?

I think there will be no update, although the wole system should work on a 040+/RTG system, especially the low res games. I'm also missing the 68K executable.
